Corpus Christi: The Body and Blood of Christ
Corpus Christi (feast)
It is advantageous that a procession be held after the Mass, in which the Host to be borne in procession is consecrated. However, nothing prevents the procession from being held after the public and extended adoration which follows Mass….
In 1263 a German priest, Peter of Prague, making a pilgrimage to Rome stopped at Bolsena. He was having serious doubts about the Real Presence of Christ in the Host. While celebrating Holy Mass in Bolsena at the tomb of the virgin martyr St. Christina, at the consecration blood began to drip from the Host. The Host bled over his hands onto the altar and the corporal (the linen cloth spread under the Host and chalice during Mass).
Fr. Peter stopped the Mass and asked to be taken to the neighboring city of Orvieto, where Pope Urban was in residence with his court (also there were St. Bonventure and St. Thomas). The Pope listened to the priest’s account then began a complete investigation. Afterward, Urban ordered the bishop of the diocese to bring to Orvieto both the Host and the linen corporal stained with the blood. The Pope made a great procession with the entire papal court out of Orvieto to meet the other procession approaching with the Host and corporal.
He brought the relics to Orvieto, where the great new cathedral church or “Duomo” was raised for their display, the cornerstone laid in 1290. They are still visible in Orvieto today. The gold reliquary is one of the wonders of medieval craftsmanship and religious aspirations. Pope Urban prompted the drafting of an Office and Mass for the new feast which he instituted in August 1264.
Anyone going to Rome would do very well to travel north also to Orvieto, which is not far at all, to see the magnificent cathedral with its bas reliefs by Lorenzo Maitani (1255-1330) and also a chapel decorated with frescoes by Luca Signorelli (1441-1523) and Fra Giovanni da Fiesole – “Beato Angelico” (1387-1455) whose tomb is at S. Maria sopra Minerva in Roma and who was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1984.
Bolsena is also not far, with the church and tomb of St. Christina where there is also a fine small catacomb you can visit.

Kapan diadakan lagi...?"
"missa lecta", seharusnya diberi penjelasan dalam kurung -DIBACAKAN, bukan dilagukan. Kesalahan ada pada saya -editor. Mohon maaf untuk itu.

- for the visitor at mass punya sspx tuh...cieee...

The Angelus Press, publishing arm for the SSPX, has put out a very nice, very helpful little booklet designed precisely For the Visitor at Mass.
...
There are many photos to exemplify the actions of the Mass, taken at a church in Kansas City, MO. I hope in a new edition some of the photos might be improved. There are a few focus problems. But all in all the photos are well chosen to show what is going on at Mass.
...
"But Father! but Father!", a few of you are probably gasping.
"Are you suggesting that this is a good book when it is published by those schismatics? I thought we couldn’t have anything to do with Lefebvrites!"
First, of all, leaving aside the term "schism", if a book is good, it’s good. This is a great little tool.
There is nothing polemical in it at all. Even in the introductory section, where there might have been some shots fired there are only helpful explanations.
Second, it is certainly permissible to buy books from a non-Catholic publisher, so long as they are decent.
Why shouldn’t one be able to purchase them from a publisher which is Catholic, even though the unity of the group with Rome is not perfect?
Also, if it is permissible when attending a Mass of the SSPX (provided that the motives are proper – and I do not recommend Communion unless your circumstances are such that it is appropriate) to make a small contribution at offertory time, why could not one buy a book?
Catholics can engaged a non-Catholic construction firm to build a church, so why can’t we purchase books from a publisher of Catholic books to build the faith, even if the publisher’s associations are not in perfect unity?
Also, I cannot think of any similar book printed by any group in more perfect and manifest union with Rome.
Were there something similar or better, I would have to give that greater consideration. In the meantime, this is a wonderful tool.
Third, it seems to me that the attitude of "embargo" against any Angelus Press products, simply because of the association of the SSPX, is really contrary to the spirit in which our Holy Father Pope Benedict has given us Summorum Pontificum. Someday, I hope, there will be more perfect, manifest unity. In that case, we should desire that the Angelus Press be sound and strong, for it will then be truly helpful in a much wider context. I act in that hope.
I think that parishes where the TLM is celebrated could use this useful and inviting little booklet. Perhaps pastors of parishes might contact Angelus Press to see if they can get samples. I think they will be favorably impressed.
Sekilas Perbedaan
Berikut ini sekilas adalah perbedaan mendasar antara Tridentina, dipromulgasikan pada 1570 oleh St. Pius V;
Bahasa:
Meskipun Latin adalah bahasa asli dari kedua teks liturgi;
Bacaan:
Terkecuali bacaan pada hari raya orang-orang kudus, Misa Tridentina memiliki siklus bacaan Kitab Suci selama satu tahun
(i.e: bila Anda mengikuti misa tanpa putus selama 1 tahun, maka sama dengan selesai membaca Kitab Suci).> kesalahan pada tambahan catatan penulis, sumber klik iniMisa Vatikan II memiliki siklus tiga tahun untuk bacaan hari Minggu, dan siklus dua tahun siklus untuk bacaan harian.
Pengakuan dosa
Paruh kedua: Liturgi Ekaristi (Misa Paulus VI) - sebelumnya disebut Misa Kaum Beriman (Mass of the Faithfull, Tridentine) - dimulai dengan persiapan persembahan.
Misa baru: sejak diundangkannya Missale Romanum, imam biasanya memimpin Ekaristi menghadap umat.
First, the old rite generally has two readings, one from a New Testament epistle and the other from one of the Gospels, while the new rite generally adds a third reading from the Old Testament. Both usages can claim an equally ancient pedigree, though the new rite's occasional allowance of a non-Scriptural text to act as a third reading is unprecedented in the world of apostolic liturgy.
Second, not unlike other historic apostolic rites, the old rite uses a one-year cycle of readings while the new rite uses a three-year cycle. The advantage of the latter is greater exposure to the Scriptures; the advantage of the former is that it serves as an annual "ruler" against which one can measure one's spiritual progress from year to year.
Third, while the readings of the old rite are chosen primarily for their moral or doctrinal relevance to the liturgical calendar, they can also be chosen because of a nearby Saint's Day or Station Day.
The advantage of this development is that it pedagogically illuminates the time of year as well as connects Christian worship to the history of the Church. The new rite, on the hand, keeps its primary emphasis on making sure that a good deal of the Bible gets covered in the three-year cycle, often irrespective of what point in the calendar it is marking. Unifying themes are less important and organic connections to Christian history or hagiolatry virtually non-existent.
Dominus Vobiscum.

Amen.

Sung Mass, dibagi lagi menjadi:
A. High Mass
